Uploading to parent of a parent directory (RESOLVED)

Postby Sardius » May 2nd, '12, 17:29

Hi.

Unless I am doing something wrong, the file uploader can only work if the upload directory is a sub directory. I cannot specify an upload path of ..\upload for example.

Am I doing something wrong or will this be changed in the next version?

Do you work with the latest version?
This issue was already fixed.

Please re-download the script again and try it.
Dow it help now?

Also, make sure you have write permissions to your target directory.

Hi.

The updated version of the class has resolved this limitation. It now works.

Thanks.

I do not have an example. I was thinking of a download manager / file manager.

Another idea - You currently have a table showing the files in the folder after the files have been uploaded. You could have checkboxes which a user selects and a download button allowing a person to download the files selected. You could also make each file listed have a download button next to each file listed.

This may be a useless option when you using the module for uploading but can be useful if you have the module for both uploading and downloading.
