A few view modifications

Postby xenovanis » Feb 1st, '16, 18:33

Hello,

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I've tried searching and I couldn't find an answer. Funny though, I found a message dated 2011, from someone who had the exact same reason to move from another php calendar :)

I am trying to set up your calendar for a taxi company. Therefor I'd want to make some modifications,

I am wondering if it is possible to strip the daily calendar view to just show the events, with some additional information. Like start time, description participant (which is, in my case, the driver) and location (in my case the car).

Also, is it possible to add the starttime of events in de monthly view?

Third, I really like to add a pull-down menu for the participants.

Thanks in advance.

Hello xenovanis,

This is possible if you have enough knowledge in PHP.

If your question "is it possible""? The answer is yes, it's possible.

But what exactly you want to change?
Are you going to do it by yourself or do you want we'll make these changes?

Also we have this module, that may be helpful for you:

Hello :)
xenovanis
I think you can do that if you know PHP .
Try it yourself.
Thanks :)

To do modifications i think is better done in the event module for apphp cms.
Here you find a calendar in components folder and in controller folder you
find, an EventsController.
You can make you own controller actions like:

public function addAction($catId = 0) {
Website::prepareBackendAction('add', 'events', 'events/manage');
$this->_loadEventsCategory($catId);

$this->_view->render('events/add');
}

ex:

public function addCarAction($catId = 0) {
your code here....
$this->_view->render('events/addCar');
}

Remember to go to the view folder events and generate addcar.php for your view.
