Yesterday i bought and installed PHP DataGrid an im already getting the hang of it - I think...
I am now trying to replace all my old grids in one of my sites with grids from PHPDG but intend to keep all my current forms for editing, deleting and creating new entries in the tables. This means that none of the editing capabilities of PHPDG will be used right now and I need to be able to construct links in the grid to specific pages which I have also managed after some trial and error.
One thing I can't get to work however is to have a button that targets a formpage on my site with one/some parameters added to the URL. What I would like to render for each row in the grid are imglinks like this:
<a href="www.mysite.com/nonPHPDpage.php?action=edit&rid=1234><img src="images/myOwnEditButton.png"></a>
<a href="www.mysite.com/nonPHPDpage.php?action=delete&rid=1234><img src="images/myOwnDeleteButton.png"></a>
"rid" would be the value of the the primary key used for the grid.
I would also like to be able to use the same sort of linking for the "add"-button
<a href="www.mysite.com/nonPHPDpage.php?action=add><img src="images/myOwnAddButton.png"></a>
So - am I missing something obvious or does the above require "manual" coding on my behalf?
Talk about link fields or link implementations
