How to make a link on the Add function

Postby daviddelmonte » Mar 4th, '11, 04:43

Hi, I am making progress with my project. I would like to know if there is a way that when the user selects "Add new" that I can direct them to a different web page - that is made by DataForm.

It from this code that I'd like the link:

Code: Select all

$modes = array(
  "add"     =>array("view"=>true, "edit"=>false, "type"=>"link", "show_add_button"=>"inside|outside"),
   "edit"     =>array("view"=>true, "edit"=>true,  "type"=>"link", "byFieldValue"=>""),
   "cancel"  =>array("view"=>true, "edit"=>true,  "type"=>"link"),
   "details" =>array("view"=>true, "edit"=>false, "type"=>"link"),
   "delete"  =>array("view"=>true, "edit"=>true,  "type"=>"image")

Thanks!

Yes, you may simply create your own Add New button, that leads to any page you want.

Sorry to be thick.

1. Is the modes section, the correct place o invoke the button?

2. Can you give a one-line code example..

Thanks
