So check what exactly you pass to the PayPal. Open a form created online with F12 and check it.

You may fix it:
Open templates/default/css/custom.css

Find there definition of form.widget-cformview label {...}
and simply comment it.

Ctrl+F12 and check your CSS.
May be you need to add some fixes for CSS of the dropdown box.
